Jurassic World may have been originally imagined as a trilogy but it seems the franchise isn't extinct yet as new reports have emerged of a new film going into the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter , a fourth film in the sequel series to Jurassic Park has been greenlit and the publication has revealed some information about what is to come. The Hollywood Reporter announced that the fourth Jurassic World movie will be written by David Koepp, who previously worked on the script for Steven Spielberg's original classic as well as its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Edwards' involvement was unveiled in February , a short time after it was announced that the original director who was set to helm the film - Bullet Train filmmaker David Leitch - had dropped out. The Hollywood Reporter also revealed that the new film will be executive produced by Spielberg, and produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley whose ties to the franchise go back a long way.
