May I snagged BF2 on Epic back when it was free. I was unable to play much due to my computer's inferior stats, and Epic itself was sucking up a lot of processing power on top of a lot of other apps I had. I ended up uninstalling Origin and Epic. Recently I wanted to play again, so I downloaded Origin and the game. I got an error message: "you'll need a new app to open this com. I'm assuming this means I need to reinstall epic, but is there an alternative way I can get the game to run without it?
