Now I found a Necky Zip for sale. Is it recommendable for starting? I weigh about lb and I'm looking for a boat for first C1-whitewater-experiences and fun on flatwater. Although I've never personally paddled this boat as a C1, I've tested it as a kayak with the intention quite a few times. As it is a Necky, it has great speed on a wave. The Zip has enough length, it doesn't feel completely like a snow shovel pushing through the water. This is a great boat to start with. You have to go after it with a club. I've got ZIP!
