They are taking over the space recently vacated by Blended a now-closed smoothie and acai bowl spot at Central St. This is the first ice cream venture for the two couples, but not their first business collaboration. When they got a text from Blended in December about the impending closure, Aleks thought there might be an opportunity to make that dream a reality. They saw the lease sign go up, and he decided to call. They signed the contract the first week of January, and the lease started March 1.
