We stumbled upon her Instagram account and beautiful portfolio a few months ago and we've been following her projects closely ever since, nako design. I have been in the design industry for almost fourteen years nako design have experience working in both residential and commercial. When not designing, my husband and I are typically in the mountains hiking or skiing and whenever my schedule allows it, we are travelling! I think nako design can be difficult to convey what an interior designer does. It took me 12 years of working with builders, architects, and designers, nako design, before I felt confident and ready to start my own business. We look forward to being a part of the next projects team.

NAKO aims to investigate the development and aetiology of diseases, identify risk factors and enhance early detection and prevention of diseases with a focus on diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, psychiatric, and infectious diseases. Between and , overall , persons aged years were recruited and examined at 18 study centres across Germany. During their visit to the study centre, they participated in a face-to-face interview, completed self-administered, computer-based questionnaires, underwent a battery of biomedical examinations, and provided various biosamples. The whole-body MRI protocol focuses on brain and cardiac structures, musculoskeletal system and body fat distribution. In year intervals, all study participants are re-invited for examinations at the study centres. The programme for the first re-examination including MRI scanning was similar to the baseline programme.

From the front hall and entry way, the space opens up into a high contrasting black and white kitchen. To soften the starkness, a curve in the super white dolomite benchtop is replicated onto a base with painted wood slats. Absolute black granite is leathered on the back counter and splash, coordinating beautifully with a stained black wood door. This elegant kitchen is kept minimal with integrated appliances, surface mounted light fixtures, and a wrap around butler pantry.
