Originally unlocked after completing the campaign, it was an unannounced game mode and map hidden in the game by Treyarch. It would go on to become its own game mode that was originally known as Nazi Zombies. The map would go on to be remastered, and remade multiple times throughout future editions of Call of Duty developed by Treyarch. This included a remaster in Call of Duty: Black Ops as part of the Hardened and Prestige editions of the game, and later as part of the Rezurrection map pack. Nacht der Untoten was also featured as part of other future maps. The lower level is also playable in an arcade minigame in the map Forsaken.
Nacht der untoten
For Call of Duty Zombies fans that have followed the mode since its inception, it is impossible to forget the first time that they spawned into the Nacht Der Untoten bunker. A brilliant post credits surprise, being swarmed by the undead was terrifying, as players had no idea what to expect from the bonus content. While Zombies was designed as a fun project by a handful of Treyarch developers, and it could have been nothing more than a one-and-done bonus mode, it quickly became a massive hit. Though there is no denying that the small map was innovative and exciting back in , there is very little that can be done on the map beyond surviving. From the grenade corner to the staircase debris that any experienced player knows not to remove, a lot of Nacht is full of nostalgia. Other quirks like the sniper cabinet and radio help to give the map personality, though it is quite basic for the most part. As for the Black Ops remaster that was included, it played largely the same, though Mule Kick allowed players to carry a third weapon - helping with survival into higher rounds. The most missable of all the Nacht Der Untoten variants from over the years, some TranZit players will never even visit this broken down version of the bunker. This is because it is hidden through some wheat fields and fog, making the journey to it difficult for players who do not know exactly where they are going. Though there is little to do inside this version of Nacht apart from picking up a Jet Gun piece, it is a fun homage that should put a simile on the face of veteran players. Considering that Revelations is meant to be a celebration of Zombies history that compiles many maps into one play space, it is no surprise that the original map made a comeback.
Though there is no denying that the small map was innovative and exciting back innacht der untoten is very little that can be done on the map beyond surviving. But be careful because if you shoot a zombie too close to you,you gonna hurt yourself. I hope you really like my guide and you will find it as a useful tool.
For the re-imagined version, see Die Maschine. It was later remastered and released as a part of the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops , as well as being available in the Rezurrection map pack. Alongside being its own map, the structure of the building that the map is played in also has appearances in other Zombies maps. In World at War , the playable faction is the Marines. This map features explosive Barrels outside the map, the Sniper Cabinet which costs per use, and it gives out a scoped Kar98k. In Black Ops , the playable faction is Ultimis, and most of the features remain the same, with the exception that the Mystery Box now contains Cold War era weapons instead, as well as the Thundergun and Cymbal Monkeys.
It was later released on the Hardened and Prestige editions for Call of Duty: Black Ops , as well as on the Rezurrection downloadable content. Nacht Der Untoten is set in an old and destroyed bunker, where up to four players must defend against an unlimited number of waves of zombies for as long as possible. In Nacht der Untoten, the player s starts in the Starting Room, with a M, a knife, and two grenades. Each player starts out with points, and gain points by killing Zombies and rebuilding five barricades that Zombies can break trough to enter the building. Players are able to buy two weapons off the wall, the Kar98k and the M1A1 Carbine. Players are able to open two doors, the Upstairs Room and the "Help" Room, both costing points. In the "Help" Room, players can buy the Mystery Box that costs points, and will grant the player a random weapon to their disposal. Player can also buy the Thompson and the Double-Barreled Shotgun off-wall. From the "Help" Room, players can 'move' the debris blocking the staircase from entering the Upstaris Room for points.

Our Forsaken starter guide will walk you through the steps needed to lift the lockdown as quickly as possible. Once you've pressed the button in the Observation Tower to lift the lockdown, you can then use the zipline to travel back to the town and into the arcade. You'll need an arcade token before you can play. These can be dropped randomly by dead zombies, purchased for 10, points at the arcade's Change Machine, or you can earn one free token at the Change Machine by hitting the machine with a melee attack. You can only get one free token per match, so even if you're playing with friends, only one person can earn the free token.

Nacht Der Untoten is a map with two floors, something that makes it to differ from other zombies maps. It costs points. You can easily and quietly buy ammo, if you have a wall weapon, rebuild some barriers or use the mystery box. They have only one wall location, exactly at the camp place and they cost points. I suggest with 4 players, you should not open the help room but the 2 stairs instead to regulate the zombies well. This is not mandatory, but if you can, it will be good to do when needed. Unlike the rest of Call of Duty: World at War, the zombie mode is survival horror.
Left image : The M1 Carbine in action! With all corruption engines powered and the Apothicon trapped, Nacht can be used as a short cut to any location on the map. Feelin' Salty? It is more accurate that Double Barreled Shotgun and it has slightly higher power, but its wall location and the nature of the map, make it completely useless. Rating: 6. That's the reason I highly recommend you the camping strategy, and Nacht Der Untoten has a great place where you can camp. Unfortunately, it isn't available in Nacht Der Untoten map. The nature and the difficulty of Nacht Der Untoten make it a completely inappropriate map for 'making circles' strategies, since the very small running space that is available and the lack of juggernog will not help you at all. This map features explosive Barrels outside the map, the Sniper Cabinet which costs per use, and it gives out a scoped Kar98k. Even you are so narrow minded that you purchase this weapon, you will be forced to replace it with Thompson or a better box weapon untill round HolyBunny as a WaW player myself I will just say to you, the strategy itself could work given the map layout is the same but of course it will be harder due to the lack of thunderguns and monkey bombs. You open the doors whenever you want, and you just make circles all over the map, running to any direction you wish. You see me guarding the room, by killing zombies with the Thompson If you are going to guard the mystery box room, you must know that there is a wall-window down image in this room, next to the stairs.
It is remarkable, rather valuable phrase
