Through new student orientation, and other transition programming, our office will help you make a successful start at SLCC. All first-time, first-year students must complete an orientation — that includes new students, former-concurrent students, and early high school graduate students. Returning and transfer students do not have to complete an orientation, but can register earlier for classes if they do so. Final grades are due within three business days after the last day of finals. Once the Canvas grades roll, the grade cannot be changed on the Canvas roster. To request a change of grade, follow the Change of Grade instructions. Last dates of attendance LDA must be submitted for students receiving a grade of "E" failing. If a student never attended the class, please submit the LDA as the first day of the semester. Clock hours are reported for Apprentice-related classes only.
