Myahm agana shrine
This is a frustrating motion control puzzle with a ball and a maze -- and thankfully a cheat to make it easier! Take the stairs on the right to find a strange apparatus. Examining it will let you use your controller as a motion controlled board that you need to tilt to guide the sphere out of the myahm agana shrine.
The challenge inside, named the Myahm Agana Apparatus trial , is a puzzle that has you rotate a platform with walls on it in order to direct a ball onto a ramp. Get it right, and you can walk out a success. If you need help finding and solving other Shrines, our Shrine location maps page can help, while our Zelda: Breath of the Wild walkthrough and guide covers other aspects of the game. The Myahm Agana shrine is located within the Hateno region, specifically inside Hateno Village, just east of the Hateno Village map marker. To get there, head due east from the Hateno Tower. There's no puzzle to solve here in order to access the shrine, so simply dive in when you're ready.

Climb the steps on the right and run forward to the pedestal. The gyro controls will control the massive platform and the goal is to move the ball to the point where you can launch it to the platform on the left. A quick alternative is to completely just flip the platform 90 degrees upward, and then immediately turn it back. Doing so will launch the ball in the air, and you could cause it to move over the gate. Just before it falls off the ledge, tilt the platform back up, and it will launch the ball over the gap. Try not to be too jumpy with the platform, otherwise it will launch it way too high. Successfully getting the ball over to the left will cause it to roll down the ramp and into the hole, opening the adjacent door. There is one treasure chest in this shrine and it is in the puzzle itself. You want to tilt the platform so the bottom right portion is much lower, and also so the exit on the left is higher. This will allow you to paraglide over to the platform.

Location: This Shrine is located in Hateno Village on a small hill on the southern side of the settlement. Upon entering the Shrine, climb the stairs on the right all the way to the top. Approach the Shieka Panel at the top. This will give you control over the maze-like platform nearby. A ball will drop into this and our goal is to use the gamepad to tilt the maze so that you can pilot the ball through to the ramp to the left of it. This will cause the ball to roll down and insert into a recess in the floor. This will open the door to the end of the Shrine. Before heading through the open door, tilt the maze downward to the left so that from the top of the ramp the ball rolled down, we can jump to it.
