The Office of Instutitional Technology, my swc, and Southwestern College as a whole, is in the process of upgrading and refreshing its existing web technologies with newer, more my swc solutions. As long as you remain logged in and keep your browser window open, you should be able to visit other secure SWC sites without needing to enter your username and password multiple times! MySWC will also allow you to reset your password 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without assistance from the Help Desk! If you are a student or faculty, your personalized MySWC Portal page will display a Canvas section where you will find a direct link to the Canvas system, with no additional login required! Normally, course and user profile information is processed by Canvas every 2 hours beginning at 12am, then again at 2am, 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm all times are Pacific. Please note that any data transfer may be canceled if SIS maintenance is being performed or if system resources are extremely low.

In your favorite browser, go to MySWC. Enter in your username and password, then click the "New Users" button. Students, if you have never created an account before, you have a temporary password - your prior MySWC password will no longer work.

We are just days away from the start of the fall semester. This semester, we will have half of our classes in person and half online. Before classes begin on Monday, take some time to double-check your class schedule. You may have already picked your classes a month or so ago, however, last-minute things may have changed like a room number or an instructor. You have until this Monday, Aug. Now more than ever, it is imperative that students actively check their MySWC email to learn more about in-person and online classes as well as important updates to the spring semester.
