This was all news to me and with her birthday just two weeks away I was not one bit prepared. As the third baby she usually gets the short end of the stick when it comes to birthday parties so I was determined to make this one extra special. I wanted to make this party as special as can be but I was also on a tight budget. One of the biggest saves was the cake. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I worked my tail off to get this cake done for her. I had worked for hours to get to this point and one little mistake with the dripping could ruin the whole thing. When setting up a party on a budget I like to spend my time focusing on one or two things that make the biggest impact. For me the biggest is the cake table. I decided that the combo of the rainbow balloon arch and pony cake would make this party seem so special to Hazel. The balloon rainbow was actually so easy to make, we just used balloons and taped them to the wall. We hung the two garlands to our old dresser to give it that special unicorn touch without being too cheesy.

I got the crayons at the dollar store. What a cute party!
