The Moss Hotel is well located in downtown Hobart, there are 2 buildings so check your booking to check that you can check into the correct one! The buildings are only a 5 minute walk between each other anyhow. The hotel has been recently renovated and is very well kept, no expense has been spared on the interior fittings, the room was well equipped with high end offerings BOSE wireless speaker box was a nice touch. The bathroom had heated flooring which was a useful with the weather. High end Australian toiletries in the bathroom and a well stocked mini bar with a kettle and Nespresso type machine. Parking at the hotel is limited but can be reserved in advance, you also can park on the street near the hotel for free between 6pm and 8am, obviously check parking restrictions for the specific bay you choose.
