MoringMark is a webcomic artist who creates fan-comic strips of shows including Gravity Falls , Star vs. The strips themselves and their contents vary from strip to strip, ranging from comedy to drama. The strips don't have an overarching story most of the time, but Mark does sometimes make stories across several strips, as well as a few that revolve around the same concept, such as his Witches Among Humans series focusing on a version of The Owl House in which Luz Noceda is a witch who ends up in the human world. Don't expect them to have a completed story though. General Allegorical Character : Mickey Mouse represents the Disney corporation , for better or worse. On one hand, he'll do light Executive Meddling for safety reasons. On the other, he will cancel in The Owl House out of homophobia.

Comedy is the main ingredient Nov. The ha-ha happening is a showcase for talents, events and more that traditionally draws names from the national level. Organizers are stressing a focus on local comics this year, with each show being hosted and headlined by a Crescent City comedian. One day, a quest went terribly wrong and now she has been sent to another realm: Earth. After several issues, it was quietly dropped when the author returned to making his standard one-shots. This series also serves as the inspiration for Among Humans. Witches Among Humans provides examples of: Adaptational Badass : In canon, Luz's mother is a vet who finds Luz's willful, though admittedly destructive imagination exasperating. Luz tells the story of her original adventure in the Boiling Isles to her daughter Azura. A series of one-shot comics depicting the next generation of characters from The Owl House. Come over? Star openly refutes this , stating that she destroyed magic to save her friends, whereas he did it to avenge his defeat at the hands of a literal baby , and then goes on to list all the things they don't have in common, before concluding "Not to mention that I have a boyfriend, and you Janna thinks it's this trope, but Marco is just feeling Star's wings instead.
