What good is slaying zombies if you can't have a little fun with it?

Do we know if its possible to port any mods over yet? Most of it seemed to be text based, and since the gameplay systems themselves haven't changed, i would think gameplay mods would still work, right? I have modded weapon durabilty and Chromatic Aberration. Works fine. I tried a direct drag and drop of an older mod, Director's Cut, but no go.
