In Aubrey began her journey some where on the big blue. Her adventure began on a 33 foot power boat with her two kids, Bianca and Blake. However, she soon became aware of the limitations of travel in a power vessel and upgraded her plan to that of the sailboat variety. While there have been numerous setbacks and hurtles to overcome, Aubrey has tackled them all with determination and success. Her drive and tenacity to maintain the life she envisioned of living on the water are inspiring. Together with her support team of people and animals, they are restoring it to her former glory.

I grew up in the valley of California in a small farm town and by my mid twenties I was ready for a change. Following a short modeling career I found a love for being behind the camera and opened portrait studio in California. Within five years, I got the itch to see something new again and moved to Austin Texas in , where I met a man that introduced me to the idea of living on a boat. In the Summer of I packed up the kids and moved onto a small power boat, that was set to leave from Kemah, Texas bound for Florida and then ultimately to the Bahamas to search for treasure. Yes, that was the plan we were going to go treasure hunting. Rob was a huge history buff and loved researching history of the Spanish Galleons. This sounded like the adventure of a lifetime. We became scuba certified and started studying weather patterns. We sold almost everything we owned and packed into a tiny Cruisers Yacht and set out to sea with zero experience. We were on a hope, a dream and a prayer.
