We are a small, in-home breeder of miniature schnauzers located in beautiful northeast Georgia. We specialize in raising breed standard colors and strive to provide well adjusted, well loved, healthy puppies to adoptive homes. We love the miniature schnauzer breed and are excited to share that love with you and your family! Although we do not personally choose to show our dogs, all of our breeding males and females have AKC championship bloodlines and they have all been DNA tested for breed relevant health conditions. Our dogs receive routine veterinary care by the wonderful staff at Madison County Veterinary Services. Our dogs are a part of our family and spend their time running around our property chasing squirrels, playing with our girls, barking at the occasional wayward cow, wrestling each other in the yard, or napping on our couch.

The Miniature Schnauzer is the smallest in the trio of Schnauzer breeds. The Mini Schnauzer originated in Germany centuries ago. Farmers of the time crossed the Standard Schnauzer with Poodles and the Affenpinscher to create a miniature-sized Schnauzer. This gave them a more effective and compact rat-dog to help control pests around the farm. Instead, they are mostly found as family pets and companion dogs as well as show dogs. With their rat-catcher background, the Miniature Schnauzer does have a high prey drive and urge to chase, which makes them a great watchdog. But, they also have an open and friendly nature.
