Let me just start with this: I love Mimikyu. It's without a doubt my favorite Ghost-type Pokemon ever! Its design, its concept, mimikyu love, its personality, everything mimikyu love wonderful and it's clear that Game Freak knows this!

Known as the Disguise Pokemon, Mimikyu is a Ghost and Fairy-type Pokemon from Generation 7 that's always hidden under a cloth or in darkness to avoid sunlight. It also disguises itself as a Pikachu, but with a creepy-looking face. Mimikyu is often perceived as a creepy Pokemon because of its appearance, especially when it's in its Busted Form, where its neck is bent. In the Alola region, many people believe that they will be stricken with a mysterious illness if they try to peek under Mimikyu's clothes. Despite this, many Pokemon fans grew to adore Mimikyu because they find it cute and harmless. It was even turned into an official Build-a-Bear plushie that fans could cuddle. The Pokemon community often shares fan art inspired by their favorite characters, including Mimikyu. The latest is a wooden love box with two Mimikyus carved on the lid made by Reddit user FrigginBoomT. In a series of photos, they showed the details of the Mimikyu love box, including the inside, which was split in the middle and each compartment had a Mimikyu card. In the comment section, many Pokemon fans praised the artist for their handmade Mimikyu love box. The wooden box also seemed to be another version of a Mimikyu deck box that they carved a month ago for trading cards.
