So with BFA comes a whole new bunch of fish. One of these fish is a bit different though in the fact that you can only fish it up at NIGHT and it's super rare. Midnight salmon is pretty cool in itself because if you USE the fish it teleports you to the nearest fishing node in Kul Tiras or Zandazar. However it's also needed for two feasts that will be surely needed in BFA for raiding and dugeons etc. From my research you can catch in about an hour. Obviously it's random so don't expect 5 every hour. The hours arent set yet but theories are from about 6pm server time til 6am server time is when this fish will be available! This fish is also going to be really handy for making gold! Since it's so rare and not everyone plays at night you'll be able to make quite a bit of gold from the auction house! As this has the same functionality as Undercurrent , they may actually go through with phasing the UA out. These fish always drop as a secondary catch to whatever the primary fish is. I'll have to get some more data, but I'm not sure that it's actually linked to server time. I wish there was a daytime salmon as fishing at night is something I personally do not have time for. What do I need it for? I wish they would go back to the old way for midnight salmon.
