Kohaku takes Senku back to her village, but unfortunately the village's guards refuse to let Senku enter. Senku attempts to trick them with science, but the sorcerer Chrome appears! Severely lacking in manpower, Senku devises a plan to win over the villagers using none other than a primitive bowl of ramen! While slinging ramen in a bid to win over the villagers, Senku is approached by a mysterious street magician. Despite the unwelcome guest, Senku is able to charge forward with his plan and even manages to take advantage of an unexpected thunderstorm! After Gen is brutally beaten in a surprise attack, Kohaku devises a plan to bring down the attacker once and for all. Senku and company gather materials to make glass, but when they try their hand at glassblowing, they find that some things require true craftsmanship.
