It's an exciting time in the card game world, as the One Piece Card Game has recently been released and stores around the country are already holding weekly events. I know it can be daunting to jump into a brand new game with so many new cards to learn, so today I wanted to lay out some of the more prominent decks that exist in the game's standard format so you can understand what each of them is trying to do and then decide which you would like to bring to your local events. Blue in One Piece strives to maintain a superior board through bounce effects and cheap interaction to maximize mana or in this case DON!! The two leaders in blue accomplish this in very different ways, so let's start with the more straightforward of the two, Crocodile. Crocodile's ability is a general purpose bounce effect that can be used alongside other tempo-oriented cards to create explosive board-swinging turns.

One Piece TCG. The best way to start playing any TCG is by not spending much, and, therefore, here are 5 budget deck options to start playing the Constructed format with! By Renan Menezes. With One Piece TCG released worldwide in the past few months, we can finally find new cards in our local stores! When we start playing a new card game, it is very hard to decide which deck to build or even tell if that strategy is worth investing in. Considering that, I decided to bring you 5 options of highly affordable and extremely cool decks, and offer you some options so you can upgrade them in case you like their strategy! When we discuss cheap decks, this Leader is the first that comes to mind for one simple reason: This deck only uses cards without effects. While some strategies are based on the effects each character has when they attack or when they enter the board, our dear cook benefits from characters not using any effects, using only bulk cards! We have a few examples of characters you can use in this list, but you can use any character which has the same cost and power, which does indeed make this list a deck made only with its bulk. Notice that there are also two Eustass "Captain" Kid. It is a card with an effect; however, its effect matches our Leader's ability perfectly, and having a strong blocker which can still untap at the end of the turn is essential to guarantee protection in the late game. This is the community's favorite when we discuss budget decks, as the first and only Leader so far to have an alternative win condition. The navigator uses a strategy which is very famous in other card games, called "Self Mill", which consists of drawing and trashing all cards in your deck, and, as per the card's additional rule, winning instead of losing. With a solid base of cards which favor this strategy, Nami is the only Leader which can win on your opponent's turn, and, the best of all, she does all that at a reasonably accessible price!
Unlike Croc's DON!! As you may have guessed, red is the most aggressive color in the game, with several cards that have access to the keyword "rush" allowing those characters to attack on the same turn they enter play. If the swarm of cards like, and don't get you all the meta decks one piece there, then you can rebuild a bit with.

Welcome once again, dear nakamas to onepiece. We are undoubtedly very happy with the response to the first article we published on this website about decks to start in the competitive game and those previously published on our main page dotgg. On this occasion, we will start with our weekly meta-report. Each week we will analyze the current state of the competitive environment in the world of One Piece using data from relevant tournaments or events that have taken place during the last week. This will also serve to consequently update the tier list which we will separate into three tiers:. This meta report will go over the top 64 of this very important tournament that brought together 1, players and, we will review at least one list of each archetype represented in this cut. OPsakazuki is without a doubt the best deck since the release of OP5.

In this meta report we will look at the best decks of the One Piece Card Game metagame. In this tier list we will separate the archetypes into three tiers, and and leaders in order of their relevance, from top to bottom in each tier:. This tier list is based on data from the automated meta tier list at OnePiece. You only need to look at what has happened to the price of Nami to realize the relevance that the most recent Starter Deck has had. What happens with this card is that it is a fundamental piece of the FILM core. However, curiously it does not come in ST

Blue in One Piece strives to maintain a superior board through bounce effects and cheap interaction to maximize mana or in this case DON!! Since and are your best targets to bounce back with the leader ability, you're heavily incentivized to have access to proactive green five-drops, and I believe Yamato to be the second best one of those behind. When we start playing a new card game, it is very hard to decide which deck to build or even tell if that strategy is worth investing in. Keep in mind all of these effects are optional, so if you just want to play as a big body without the removal or rush in order to maintain your DON!! Always take advantage of Little Sadi OP 's ability so you can get two characters for the price of one and surprise your opponent by filling your board in just one turn. For anyone familiar with Trafalgar Law's character, you'll immediately appreciate how thematic this top-down design is, and for those who are just card players I'm sure you're excited by how powerful this ability looks. If you like red, but don't want to go full-on "Red Deck Wins," there is a slower, more controlling build available to you in Big Luffy. Having both and to clear out blockers after putting Yamato into play for just two DON!! Topics budget constructed Nami Zoro. See you next time! There are a plethora of strong two and three-cost cards you can fill the board with to set up a devastating all-out attack on a later turn.

If your idea of tempo is playing four-drops for what is functionally 1 DON!! If you're more inclined to win a resource battle, then few cards would better facilitate that then. This is a common line of play when you're trying to take the aggressive role in a matchup or if you happen to have too many expensive cards without counter value in hand you don't think you'll have time to play. There is simply no other card in the game that threatens to beat your opponent as fast as Yamato does while not giving them extra cards for doing so because of the banish keyword. The color boasts incredibly strong attackers like OP1 Yamato alongside some of the best defensive cards in the game, highlighted by. That can certainly happen, as this iteration of the deck has 11 cards that cost five or more without counter value, and most builds would likely be in a similar range. That power is one of the reasons why multicolored leaders start the game with four life cards as opposed to the normal five. An honorable mention goes to the other purple leader , who is not widely used, but I think serves a purpose for players who aren't yet sure how to leverage Kaido's leader ability. March 17, Red Roronoa Zoro Flood the board and buff your team with this speedy aggro deck! Kaido as a deck isn't built around the leader ability so much as it is built around the most powerful cards in purple and how they synergize with one another. Then there are a couple important role-playing cards in and that can combine to devastate your opponent's boardstate while being solid threats on their own. Another important element of the Crocodile deck is protecting powerful standalone threats like and that can take over a game by accruing a large amount of value over time. We have a few examples of characters you can use in this list, but you can use any character which has the same cost and power, which does indeed make this list a deck made only with its bulk.
It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question.
