Die beiden kommen miteinander aus, sind aber keineswegs die besten Freunde — was vor allem daran liegt, dass Plagg, im Gegensatz zu Tikki , alles andere als pflichtbewusst ist. Marinette ist eine gute Freundin von Adrien und die beiden unternehmen gerne etwas miteinander. Diese komplizierte Beziehung zwischen den vier Charakteren welche eine mitunter humorvolle bis alberne Art beinhaltet bildet einen Kern der Serie.
