So in this episode, as they were battling, Alain coincidentally passed by and saw them battling each other when Greninja evolve into Ash-Greninja sparking up his interest about Ash and his Greninja. My reason Greninja would win because he has to win only to spark more interest in Alain to battle Greninja. We can see a few seconds of younger Ash and Pikachu talking with younger Alain give or take three years before idk it is just my guess and Charizard. SobI am guessing they had made a promise to battle each other one day and so now is the chance. So this theory is whether Mega Charizard X or Greninja will win.
