Meetra Surik was a charismatic female human Jedi Master who, while still a Jedi Knight at the time, followed Revan and Malak to war against the Mandalorians, in defiance of the Jedi Council. Because of this she was exiled from the Jedi High Council and came to be known as the " Jedi Exile ". Just prior to Revan and Malak's fall to the dark side and the Jedi Civil War , Surik returned to Republic space to face trial with the Jedi Council and was stripped of her connection to the Force, exiled from the Order and spent several years wandering the galaxy. The near extermination of the Jedi Order at the hands of the Sith Triumvirate resulted in her reconnecting to the Force and leading a desperate fight to stop the Sith. During her mission to stop the Sith, she trained the Jedi that would eventually rebuild the Order and restore peace to the galaxy. She then returned to the Unknown regions to find and aid Revan in his fight against the Sith Empire.

Her death was lame, especially considering her powers of precognition. But the death doesn't bother me as much as the mishandling of the character of Drew's part. Absolutely no research done on her canon powers and abilities. She became just a companion to his creation. Very dissapointing. Its not like thats anything new. All characters can have lame deaths, or completely forget their powers or whatever due to writing. And that's the problem, Drew should have learned from the other couple of times this has happened, or at least learned about what happens when you mess around with Darth Bane's original story. You do know Chee got on his behind about that? So we come right to it then, success and money! As long as those two things are good, then the characters are usually not protected. Sure you upset fans, but it all comes down to success and money so really no matter what the character it doesn't matter.
You transmit your pain, your suffering through the Force.
Rising to the rank of Jedi Knight during the conflict, she served under the command of Revan and Malak and was eventually commissioned as a General in the Republic Military. Surik played a vital role in defeating the Mandalorians during the latter stages of the conflict, but as a direct result of her controversial actions during the cataclysmic final battle, she effectively cut her connection to the Force. Afterwards, out of all those who went to war, she was the only Jedi to avoid the call of the dark side and return to the Jedi Council to be judged for her crimes. After being exiled from the Jedi Order, she wandered for nearly a decade before returning to the Republic during the Dark Wars, at the height of the First Jedi Purge. Caught up in the schemes of various mysterious factions, she was swiftly drawn into the ongoing conflict and caused the defeat of the Sith Triumvirate, ruled by Darth Nihilus, Darth Sion and Darth Traya. With her connection to the Force restored, Surik emerged victorious from her campaign against the Sith Lords, and immediately began a search for the long absent Jedi Revan.
Meetra Surik was a woman in her physical prime, with an able body and admirable stamina. Having gone through Jedi Training, Echani Training and living a life of combat, she was in peak physical condition with no glaring weaknesses or wounds. All-Natural, Meetra lacked any form of cybernetic implantation and relied solely on the force to boost her combat capabilities. An adept swordsmen, Meetra's preferred fighting weapon was a single blade, allowing her unrestricted movement, and no obvious draw backs or gains. She wielded a standard Jedi hilt, no curve or modular settings. However under the tutelage of Darth Traya, Meetra Surik was well versed in dual blade fencing, facing off against Sith Assassins like Visas Marr and emerging victorious. She was also trained in the double bladed lightsaber, though rarely employed its use.

While Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 ends on a cliffhanger, the Star Wars franchise ventually concluded the story in anothr medium. The action RPG puts players in the role of a Jedi Exile who must assemble the remaining Jedi and fight back against a triumvirate of powerful Sith. Many fans may still be awaiting a third game to tie up the loose ends left by KOTOR 2 , but these mysteries have actually already been solved. While the status of KOTOR 2 in Star Wars canon is currently unclear, the game's story is still looked upon fondly by fans of the sci-fi franchise. Throughout the game the playable Jedi Exile must search for reclusive Jedi Masters, either recruiting them to the fight against the Sith or killing them as revenge for exiling them years prior. Eventually it is revealed that the Exile's force-sensitive friend Kreia is actually a Sith Lord named Darth Traya, however, who murders the assembled Jedi to secure her power. Traya serves as the game's final boss, and upon her defeat she gives the Exile a prophetic vision of the future. The novel, written by Drew Karpyshyn, takes place between and after the two Knights of the Old Republic games and fills in many gaps in Revan's story. During the novel Revan searches for information about his mysterious past, which leads him to seek out the Jedi Exile whose real name is revealed as Meetra Surik. In the Revan novel Surik, Revan and a Sith warrior named Scourge team up to face the Sith Emperor Tenebrae in battle, but he proves far too powerful even for the triumvirate.

And that is what pleases me. The character's gender affects the makeup of his or her party, with the Echani Handmaiden Brianna joining the party rather than Mical the Disciple if the player chooses the male gender. If Surik was male, it was strongly implied that Atris held feelings for him prior to his departure for the Mandalorian Wars—and even after his exile. Surik joined the Revanchists , along with many fellow Jedi, to aid the Republic against the Mandalorian invasion. Preceded by Nomi Sunrider. A small government community known as[Khoonda was attempting to make Dantooine habital and more eco-friendly for settlers when Surik arrived, but were being pestered by a vicious group of mercenaries led by a battle-scarred ex- Sith soldier named Azkul. I feel like you guys are being a little unfair to Drew.

After Kreia telepathically guided her through the Valley of the Dark Lords , she entered the abandoned Sith Academy and found that Darth Sion had killed Vash no more than an hour after they landed. Explore Wikis Community Central. A combined team of Jedi and Republic commandos were dispatched to a Sith world called Taral V to retrieve a Gree computer with the Maelstrom 's coordinates. Darn that would've been a nice ending However Atris had already been corrupted by the dark side, and now seething with jealousy she attacked Brianna, nearly killing her with several attacks of Force Lightning, until Surik arrived and saved her. After gaining contact with Jedi Master Kavar in the Iziz Cantina, Tobin interrupted the meeting, forcing Kavar to flee, but not without promising to contact her when he was able. In defiance when they asked for the surrender of her lightsaber , she stabbed it into the center stone. There was no question that this bond made them grow closer, and at times Brianna found herself jealous of Visas Marr, who was also falling for him. After Kreia awoke and told Surik that they had to find a way off the station, she found the facility to be completely abandoned except for malfunctioning mining droids, which attacked Surik on sight. Unbeknownst to them, this Sith was Lord Scourge. Bastila Shan entrusted Revan's mask with Surik, hoping that the relic was the key to restoring his memories. They stated that she carried the deaths of all who died in the battle within her, and that she regained her connection to the Force by feeding on death and leeching the life energy of her companions. I also get the fact the book is called Revan, not Suriik, the point is she played an equal role as Revan in saving the galaxy from the false Sith and the scars of war, hence deserved at least the same fate as Revan.
