I love the chickens I have, but now I will have to purchase additional chicks, from a local feed store, to replace the roosters I GAVE away, after feeding and caring for them for four months! However, at least in my case, the quality of their birds was terrible. I've ordered Cornish X's from MM for years, and a few always die from causes unknown. Some will figure out how to avoid predators, and sadly, some will not, but that is how nature goes. What are some common illnesses that you see that people should start looking for?
