As a way to balance my daily life, I started painting on river rocks in I found myself giving more of my free time and energy to exploring different mediums, paints and tools. Along the way, I even discovered some unconventional approaches. So I had to pioneer and develop my own set of tools. Years later, I still paint every day. I look for inspiration everywhere in life.

Mandala painted rocks are made using flat, washed stones, dotting tools of several sizes and acrylic paint. Typically, a central dot is painted in the middle of a mandala rock, and small patterns of symmetrical dots are painted in different colors around the central dot of the mandala rocks, creating a fluid, intricate pattern of dots in various colors and color combinations.
