My go to for the blackest of black eyeliners from MAC. I love smoulder eyeliner but it smudges on me during the summer. I sought out feline from MAC and was impressed with the payoff. You can So, I went to MAC specifically asking for a black pencil liner which would be soft as possible to smudge for smokey eyes and the SA suggested Feline. For me and the purpose I need it for it's I really love this eyeliner pencil.

You heard me. Its claim to fame? Color — or rather, the absence of it. Like the blackest of nights, Feline is very dark. Each time it made an appearance in a limited edition collection remember it from D Squared? Add to my Feline stockpile! Perhaps rightly so, he fears that my feline affliction will someday spiral out of control. Truth be told, he is a wise man to plan for such a scenario. Like Graphblack , which excels at drawing precise, skinny lines; Blacktrack , which makes quick work of crisp cat lines and sails through tight lining water lines; and Smolder , which loves being layered and smudged beneath eyeshadows. It lacks the blue, purple or green undertones that we often see, making it darker, richer and moodier than its MAC counterparts…kinda like the Dark Knight of MAC black liners. Wearing Feline, brown eyes appear browner, green eyes greener; it really seems to emphasize the natural color of your eyes. Feline is also categorically creamy, creamier than Smolder, even, and that soft texture allows it to create softly blurred smudgy lines. It really helps to lock Feline in place. Love Feline!

My eyes are OILY. Ladies with oilier lids may need to set it with a black eyeshadow on the upper lashline. Rating: 9.

Have not tried any of these. Staying power is important to me, so I might try Urban Decay Perversion. Alexis, I'm so glad your wrote about these because I totally trust your opinion and I really like liquid eyeliner, but glide on ones are good too and I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay!! Truth be told, he is a wise man to plan for such a scenario. Thank you for the advice. When I smudge Smolder it has some sort of blue hint, that is not bad, but if you want black, get Feline. I love this pencil. It seems to last a long time too. Do you own either of these eyeliners? I have them both, i've been using smolder for years but i have dumped it after purchasing feline. My intention was to buy Smolder. Check out my latest post for details!! I also have the both and would have to say Feline. Smolder is good on the lash line when you have a good base such as concealer.

It has medium darkness, but it is a total neutral black, not leaning cool or warm! Btw, i need your opinion on nude lippies from MAC. Will repurchase. Can one black be blacker than the other? My hair is naturally black- more of a violet black than a blue black. Truth be told, he is a wise man to plan for such a scenario. I'm disappointed this doesn't work exactly as I'd hoped.
