Fresh Start gives them hope. In her full-time position with the organization, she manages services for current and prospective patients, oversees recruitment and training for more than volunteers and handles patient outreach at health fairs and with community presentations, among other duties. Morales, 36, lives in Oceanside with her husband and two stepchildren. She took some time to talk about the work being done at Fresh Start, her interactions with families, and the kind of reward she gets from working with children.
