Climb up the stairs you uncover, then keep smashing cheese. Hit it with Cappy to unlock the nearby moon. When you capture it with Cappy, the Cookatiel will carry you up to the pot at the top of the volcano. Inside, capture a Lava Bubble and start working your way up the lava waterfall, dodging the wooden pillars.

Hop eastward along the tops of the columns with long jumps until you reach the end. There are two forks in the wall to the west of the Odyssey. Warp to Peronza Plaza and head south, as if you were returning to the Odyssey. Launch yourself back to the left, then grab moon 41 on your way out. Head to Peronza Plaza, then grab one of the Lava Bubbles next to the pier-thing. Head south along the roof closest to the Odyssey, along the piles of salt, to find your moon. Instead of dropping into Peronza Plaza, though, turn right and follow the ridge. Drop back down and continue through the rest of the lava paths to the end to find moon Guide your dive toward the small ledge, then ground pound to reveal your moon. Before you start collecting the moon shards, turn back toward the door you came in through. You just have to run out, grab the key and run back.
