Hollyoaks boss Lucy Allan has stepped down after two and a half years, it has been revealed. The acclaimed producer, who took over the role in , has helmed some hard-hitting and incredibly powerful episodes and storylines over the past two years since taking the reins of the Channel 4 soap. The groundbreaking incel narrative, a story that saw Eric Foster — played by the brilliant Angus Castle-Doughty — terrorise the women of the eponymous village, would also pick up gold at the Soap Awards. Hollyoaks airs weeknights at pm on Channel 4, with first look offerings available from 7pm on E4. Stream episodes first on All4 from midnight.
