LOSP is a pre-primed timber product.

This premium pine is manufactured by finger jointing and laminate, and pre-primed for an almost perfect finish. It is also supplied in grooved fascia. LOSP is a type of treatment that contains white spirit and Copper Naphthenates with other chemicals to protect against insects or decay. LOSP contains a preservative that is safe for use around people including children, and pets. It is recommended that LOPS timber is sanded down and re-primed before painting. The treatment used in unprimed LOSP is clear and thus the timber is natural in its appearance.
