Empathy plays a major role in LTA. Either you play as a MC who wants to love women and have a good life -or- as a guy who wants to seduce babes and get laid. That being said, if you're ready quit due to the "player avatar" appearance before you even get past Day 13, please consider playing through the cringe. This game is never supposed to be taken seriously. If you find yourself cringing at something, it's either intentional or it's your own problem. Try not to rage-quit or troll just because something made you very uncomfortable. You will find out more as the story develops through flashbacks.
