This page contains information on the main quest, Guidance from Ages Past, which is an additional quest that branches off from the Find the Fifth Sage questline and must be completed in order to progress it. You've found a strange Zonai relic on Left arm depot totk Island, and a beam of light has emerged from it.

This involves completing a short puzzle or two in all of the depots. Before you can gather any of these body parts, however, you must first start the Find the Fifth Sage main quest. To reach the Left-Arm Depot go south-west from the elevator you used to enter The Depth and then go up the nearby log to reach its entrance. The gate will lock now, so hit the wheel to open the nearby door and take the leg through using Ultrahand. Next, take the arm into the other side of the room and turn it, Zonai devices still attached, horizontal. With these devices attached, use Ultrahand to place the left-arm as far across the lava as possible - it will be fine, trust us. You now need to climb across one of the pieces of metal hanging above the lava to the other side and, once there, use Ultrahand to retrieve the left-arm.

This particular escapade will involve plenty of lava, and some driving! Ascend to the top of the Construct Factory for a good view of our dark surroundings. Hit the wheel to the left of the terminal and the door will raise. Head on through, bringing the relic with you. The next room is full of lava. Take two wheels from the door using Ultrahand, and attach them to either side of the relic. In the corner of the room are some controls to attach to our Relic car, too. Make your way across the lava.
