The trial over the death of Lee Turner has been ongoing for a fortnight at Bristol Crown Court and today, after a number of hours of deliberation, the jury remained deadlocked. The court heard that Mr Turner once told a probation officer during a previous conviction that he was "a professional drug dealer robber". A witness found the victim lying face down and unresponsive, with a knife near his body that, DNA evidence suggests, belonged to him.

A teenage drug dealer allegedly fatally stabbed a man in a row over money, a court has heard. Mr Ejiogu was one of three teenagers who had travelled to Swindon from London to sell drugs, the court heard. The defendant, from Chingford in east London, admits stabbing Mr Turner, but claims he was acting in self-defence. He was 17 at the time of the incident and has previously admitted a charge of possession of a knife in a public place and supply of class A drugs.
