This product gives enough coverage to make your face look smooth. The fair color is exactly my skin color but offers a little less coverage than the light color. I have large pores and they do not become more visible with it , unlike with most other powders. I wanted to really like the idea of a makeup for aging skin. The previous makeup I used, I felt magnified my wrinkles instead of blurring them. The problem I found with this is the color and application. Sometimes it looks well blended and not splotchy. Other times it looks irregular and does not cover imperfections. I have tried several different brushes to improve application.. I will continue to work on this but wish it was more foolproof. This is a great product for mature skin with just the right amount of coverage, my only complaint is that I wish they had a color between light an medium. I haven't worn makeup in a few years now but am tired of being "rudolph the red-nosed reindeer! After reading reviews and all about the different Laura Geller foundations I decided on the Porcelain! This is the BEST Now, I plan to wear it everyday even if I'm only going outside!
