Apparently the best method is to get the 64bit Dolphin apk off their website and sideload it onto your Shield assuming you have the Pro edition—not the A prebuilt APK is now available for Android. They autodetect the shield controller as well as the 8bitdo wireless snes remotes that I have so no set up needed. It enables you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through its slick graphical interface. Hope that helps. I installed Launchbox fine, and went to do retroarch next but it keeps failing without any explanation why.

By Stu February 13, in Noobs. I have been an avid gamer over the last 35 years and i still enjoy playing games on the consoles i have purchased throughout that time. I opted for a Gigabyte M motherboard, 16gb ram mhz and a Ryzen G CPU and so far it has been able to handle the majority of my platforms but as i am now looking get setup my PS3 - WII U games and be able to play them to a decent standard pp i am looking at buying a dedicated GPU. I am not that clued up on GPU's to be honest. There are far too many makes and model numbers which has me a little confused as to what is the best bang for buck GPU that will suit my needs. Hi, nice to welcome another old school gamer here. In my opinion it is extremely difficult to purchase a graphics card for your budget at this point in time. Since I also play PC games with my setup, I played it safe and installed a ti, but this is already too much for emulation as far as the standard platforms are concerned. The PS3 emualtion is also still in development, so from my point of view it's worth waiting, there's more to try out. I myself have only tested games, more than a technical test. If you are just looking for emulation, anything remotely new should be fine. Depending on what features you want to enable, like high end shaders, major upscaling, etc, than more GPU power matters. I may just hold off for now but i will keep an eye on the usual places just in case i can find a bargain within my price range.

This causes unnecessary letterboxing that does not allow BigBox or any emulators that are launched by BigBox to use all of my TV screen real estate. In order to prevent this I had been manually changing the resolution to x before running BigBox. This was super annoying, so I contacted Unbroken Software support to find out if BigBox supported automatically changing the display's resolution allowing BigBox to run with a aspect ratio on my TV.
