La primera temporada fue anunciada poco antes de su estreno y fue puesta al aire el 6 de agosto de y termino el 17 de septiembre de Esta temporada fue estrenada el 4 de marzo y se termino el 7 de abril. Monche Super Estrella. El profesor Mitocondria accede a que Beto sea el profesor de la clase y todos le piden ayuda, provocando que se desmaye. El padre de Jenny le dice que se va a quedar pelona por familia. Entonces le pide a Beto que le haga una locion para el crecimiento del cabello. El profesor Mitocondria hace un concurso sobre la tabla periodica y a Monche le toca concursar contra Beto. Angel se postula para presidente estudiantil de la CQ, Clara y Adri no quieren ya que Angel es irresponsable. Adri Basquetbolista. Cuando Jenny lastima los sentimientos de Adri disiendole que es fea, Clara la ayuda a volverse una "Jenny 2" lamentablemente ella califica para unirse al equipo de basquetbol.

The series first premiered on August 6, , and then returned with the Season 2 on December 6, La CQ tells the story of eight friends at the middle school called Constantino Quijano. The friends: Angel, Clara, Beto, Monche, Jenny, Danny, Adri, and Roque often go through funny conflicts causing great stories, misunderstandings, but more importantly always showing the value of friendship and being a team. The series received criticism since its launch. Audiences and critics criticized the plot of the episodes, the poor performances, the effects and the toilet humor, considered as very simple. It is also criticized by Hispanics that the design of the school is too americanized, although the series is set in Mexico. The humor is considered very simplistic and boring, and also criticize the excessive use of laugh track. A Movie and a Brazilian Version were announced at the time by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo but they never aired in the channel and nothing was known about them after that.
