They do have some construction going on during the day, which can be a little distracting, but again not terrible. Better to overpay than to breathe.. The inclusive breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the variety of Thai breakfast on offer as well as the normal toast, jam, fruit and yoghurt. Beds were comfy and the area is quite calm, so we could sleep perfectly at night. It was fine for my first day in Koh samet but I wouldn't want to stay long term. Samed Pavilion Resort. The food in the restaurant was a good standard with plenty of choice and the sea front was just idillic. Particularly if you have children, the hotel is perfect. In case of spending night life,I suggest Sai Keaw beach or Wong Duen bay because those places are around with many nice restaurants and bars and many people that makes you want to stroll on the beach at night.
