JPGN solicits original research manuscripts in areas of developmental biology and pathogenesis broadly related to intestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic functions. The backlog of Original Articles is now only months for in-print publication. Manuscripts with novel scientific data or findings of primary public health importance may be submitted for rapid publication. These submissions are prioritized for publication following a rapid review process completed in 10 days or less. The usual turnaround time from initial submission to PAP is less than 2 weeks, with publication in the next issue approximately 2 months. Manuscripts can be submitted online.
