As the other answer stated, there should be a chart inside the lid to get you close. The chart only gives you a place to start because it estimates the setting for the number of pounds of seed you're applying. Also, where the levers are there should be a pointer and some numbers to give you a reference for where it's set. Years ago when I had an , I found that you better measure the flutes on each side mine had a lever for each half of the drill with an accurate ruler fine graduations to get them set even remotely close. I took to measuring out a distance in the field and collecting seed from one row for a set distance multiple times until I got it set right. He hasn't used it in years and could not remember much about it. I need a parts and user's manual. Anyone know where I might find these, other than ebay none listed at this time? Also, does anyone have any idea what years these were made? This one has single disks, is 12'wide 14' wide including tires , does not have press wheels. Thanks for any help.
