I don't have much to say, certainly not any poignant, about this book. And you know what, I don't even fault him. That said, I enjoyed hearing his story and was surprised that he really successfully survived it all. Joey Diaz has been called every name in the book and then some. So much cigarette smoke, booze and cocaine, a complete chaos. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is into comedy and standup. Who or what was Jesus Christ? Then he recounts when his mother died, and he started involving in criminal activating, doing drugs, jail, etc… and how by telling jokes in jail, he started to discover his gift to telling jokes and being a comedian. He's never been a go-to comedian for me. I felt every emotion possible and laughed along the way. By: Willy Vlautin.
