I have a spring or something hard sticking in my butt and thought about replacing the padding. I have looked on the interweb and found memory foam in different thicknesses. Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions. They don't cover the whole TJ seat so I have the opposite problem as you. I know that 1 inch does a lot and likely couldn't get any more stuffed under the seat fabric anyway. What I don't have is where to get, but you seem to have that answer.

Tip- If too tight put some weight on the cushion to get some slack. On the bottom back of the cushion there are two or three here On the top of the cushion there are 6 stuck down deep into the cushion slots. Log in Register. I built up new layers of foam, cutting pieces, gluing them in place, then carefully carving them to shape. I found out quickly that the seat fabric is secured to the foam with a weird metal banding system, It didn't seem like removing the fabric completely was going to happen.
