So JCP eliminated their Supreme line of draperies and many more so they have a lot on clearance in the store, but no inventory.
Remember when I showed you the start of our bedroom redo a couple of months ago? Remember the purple drapes? They were left over from the room before…and before. I was sold! I was thrilled when I got them and they were the perfect color! I thought the plain rust side was a bit much, but the drapes are reversible — the back side was a beautiful buffalo check print. When I hung the drapes the night we got them, I held up the check side and hubs and I both though they may read a bit too country for our taste.

Bed Bath and Beyond is extremely expensive, and Target's selection is limited. I've thought of trolling places like TJ Maxx HomeGoods or other such places, but it's hit or miss and I might end up buying a bunch of other stuff while I'm there!!! Is there some secret place where expert home decorators shop? I use to have a little Italian woman that could make any drape or roman shade, show her a picture and she could make it. Now she's retired and I am sick. What was your question? Out Marshall's just started stocking a nice selection of drapes. They nevery had them before but they had an entire aisle of nice ones. I think Country Curtains has a good selection of decent quality curtains and drapes at a reasonable price. You might also try JC Penney. Not sure what they carry these days.
I thought the store redesign looked like they were trying to become the Target of department stores letting Sears be the Wal-Mart of department stores. Go bold with your curtains and jcp kitchen curtains for all the privacy you need and heightened drama too.

You don't want to see my bent rod and sad sheers. I bow down to the master. I can vouch for JC Penney drapes being good drapes. Houzz Research. Before you make your next home-decor purchase, ask yourself these 10 questions. Same with Penneys--they have longer lenghts-always have free shipping--and convenient to return if you have a store near. They are like the jewelry on the space. Do you buy special mounting hardware or something? You just put the pole in, tighten, and turn it so the tool can cut it. Mine were also on sale. You are hilarious! Anybody want to add your thoughts to it? If I am doing drapes for someone who can afford them and we need them to complete the look, of course, I prefer custom drapery but I have a special affection for JCP drapes based on price, quality and great customer service and knowledge of their salespeople. I went in JC Penney for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago. I really like those pleats that you created.

When you posted the first time they were already out of that color, but maybe it was for the best because I had already purchased fabric to make drapes for the family room in a similar pattern although more country, a smaller check in those colors in cotton. I also left the rust side on the other end of the window for a good week, just to make sure my love was real. They're always on sale and there's a lot of variety. I have seen many large buffalo checks and don't think they look country at all. Cute kitty, too! The end result really depends on the fabric — this fabric is perfect! Did you get that at JC Penny too? Penneys always has a great selection and they have frequent sales. Also, sign up for their emails, and you will get extra coupons and notifications. But have also found Half Price drapes to be a fab place for drapery-especially when you catch their buy 1 get 1 free sale have one going on now. They were looking pretty sad. JCP is the place for drapes! Okay, so I love the drapes, but I have to say that I love the cat too!
