She tells the story of her path toward becoming a psychedelic-focused writer: An early interest in mysticism to a high-dose solo psilocybin experience, to volunteering with David Luke at a retreat in Wales, to eventually interning at the Institute of Ecotechnics, which led her to Synergetic Press. They talk about peyote conservation and the IPCI, 5-MeO-DMT and the protection of toads, how ayahuasca churches and facilitators have dealt with Covid, and the concept of plant medicines protecting people from Covid and other diseases. Hundreds of front-line healthcare staff at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital had a feast of authentic East Indian cuisine yesterday, thanks to the generosity of a local business owner and Council members. Jazz Virdi of KURRY brought in his family and Kenora Council members to help prepare a variety of dishes yesterday, before making the delivery to hungry healthcare workers at the hospital as a thank you to front-line staff who have served during the COVID pandemic. Virdi adds that he made sure there was enough for not only the day staff, but for the overnight staff to enjoy as well.
