This week, we fixed some minor issues in the app. We are always working hard on improvements to make finding your next home even easier. Zillow can help you find the home of your dreams—one that contains all of your must-haves, is a reasonable distance from work, and falls kind of within your budget. The app offers resources for every step in the process, from attending open houses to picking an agent to understanding the intricacies of the mortgage market. Yes, there are issues, some that are beyond aggravating. Yet it is the one app I go to on almost a daily basis for 2nd home and vacation condo shopping, or to just look at dream homes in new areas. On my iPad, most recently the app just locks up, requiring either a restart or deleting and reinstalling the Zillow. Why did this option go? On the plus side, the option to connect with the agent, the display options, the filter features, and overall presentation are pleasant. Decent control over search saves and update notifications as well.

With a wider, single-scroll format, it has never been easier for home shoppers to find key information, such as square footage, Zestimate, lot size and home type. The layout also introduces a new magazine-style media section at the top, to better showcase photos and 3D tours. Users can now conveniently manage their budget, connect with lenders, get prequalified through Zillow Home Loans and track their loan status, all in one place. Saved searches — Saving searches and having updated email preferences are the best ways to get the for-sale or rental listings you want sent to you the minute they hit the market. Alternatively, you can switch to daily or weekly notifications if your home search is more casual.

I use to love this app and preferred it over Realtor because you had the option of the street view which allowed you to see the spacing between houses better and could get different angles of the front of the house.
