I have recently picked up Ivara again and after playing her for close to a hundred hours, I can now say that she is fun but really really outdated and does not "click" with the state of the game anymore. As you can see, she is a good frame overall, so why do I still want DE to change her? Well, a couple of things actually. If you don't know what [Quiver] does, let me explain. Basically, there are 4 types of arrows you can cycle trough and shoot at will. Sleep Arrows which have a base radius of 6 meters and put enemies to, well, sleep. Dashwire arrows that anchor a wire between the point where you shoot at and your location. Cloak Arrows which place a bubble with a base radius of 2. A noise arrow that attracts enemies in a base radius of 20 meters. Of all of these possible options, only dashwire and sometimes sleep arrows get used. Cloak arrows yes, even with empowered quiver and noise arrows are basically useless. Also, the only reason dashwire arrows are used is because of the augment mod [Empowered Quiver] which hilariously enough only buffs 2 of the 4 arrow types because even DE couldn't figure out what to do with the other 2 apparently. It should be changed entirely to give a different effect. A suggested change could include:.

Ivara is also great for Spy missions and other kinds of stealth gameplay. With the Infiltrate Syndicate Mod Ivara is able to bypass lasers without being detected. However, the main reason why you need Ivara is her Dashwire Arrow ability, which makes some Mastery Rank tests much easier. It is also very useful in some missions, where it allow you to easily reach platforms that are otherwise unreachable or sneak over the enemies, lasers etc. Her blueprints drops from Spy missions only regular missions or Nightmare if you successfully hack all 3 terminals on various difficulty levels:. Notice that Lua has a slightly higher chance of dropping the Chassis Blueprint and you might also get Octavias Chassis Blueprint if you encounter the Lua Music Puzzle room and manage to solve the puzzle. The archer Ivara brings great mobility and stealth abilities to the table, with great ranged abilities that can provide cover to you and others, sleep enemies or even create wires to climb if you need a vantage point. Her Prime version also displays higher shields, armor, energy, and sprint speed, as well as an additional polarity. Ivara's main and component blueprints are acquired from Spy missions including Nightmare Mode depending on mission level. Ivara has many ways to control large crowds of enemies and hide out of plain sight with invisibility abilities. Her exalted weapon is a great resource but she shines better as a supporter character, taking cover and eliminating enemies from the shadows, as well as providing that same cover to others. Abilities Passive Ivara has an innate radar that detects enemies within 20 meters and displays their position on the minimap. Quiver Cycle through and shoot one of four tactical arrows. Cloak creates a stationary bubble that cloaks Ivara and her allies.

The fastest way to farm Ivara is to be with a squad or do public spy missions, however not all parts drop on any mission, there are specific missions that you must do to farm her efficiently. Ivara will have the same requirements for crafting just like other Warframes , however aside from farming just her parts, you will also need to find her blueprint in the same way. Ivara can be farmed by doing spy missions and there will be a chance for her parts to drop as a reward. Keep in mind that there is no best place to farm Ivara parts other than whichever spy mission you can complete faster than the above listed missions. You must complete all vaults mean A, B and C should be successfully hacked in order to have a chance to get her part. You will most likely be doing several runs so playing with a squad or going for a public session is advised to save time. Using a stealthy Warframe is advisable to be able to run the mission quickly without alerting enemies to avoid causing the mission to turn into an exterminate mission if alarms are triggered repeatedly. Having at least 3 people in a squad can ensure a fast mission since each one of you will be able to take one letter each. In the case of Ivara, the invisibility on Prowl requires you to do no fancy parkour, no sprinting and restrict yourself to silent weapons Walking close enough to a Door that it actually opens and literally before the Door has finished opening, an Arc Trap taking like Energy from you, is entirely unreasonable and unfair.
