Saw this critical update come down via MyAsus so went to install it. Prompted to restart and notebook reboots to update the bios to It completes and log back into windows. All looked well until this morning and find the notebook BSOD twice overnight. No obvious causes from mini dumps so ignored and started working then got 2 further BSOD while doing normal office work. Can't see how to Uninstall the ISST updates so forced to restore from Macrium reflections backup from before this update.

SURELY there must be a solution, a generic driver, a new sound card, something to resurrect this machine that mostly works ok otherwise except the bogging down from Antimalware Service Executable that also has taken tens of hours to try and fix to no avail. I use this computer daily and need audio as I do some video editing and need the sound to work.
