Iowa high school football state champions were crowned in seven classes this week at the UNI-Dome. State champs!!

We're down to the final two teams in each of the seven classes in Iowa high school football as the 14 teams battle for the right to be crowned state champions. The title games kick off Thursday morning with 8-Player action, and the two days of high-stakes football wrap up Friday night with the Class 5A championship game. The Bulldogs beat West Branch, , in the first game , then the Falcons topped Underwood, , in the second game. The Tigers rallied from down to topple the mighty Maroons and advance to next week's Class 5A state championship game. The Maroons end the year at overall. The Dragons had to upset a few teams to get to this point, but their season comes to an end with an record and their first-ever trip to the UNI-Dome for the state semifinals. The Rams earn a spot in next Friday's Class 5A state title game. They'll try to defend their state title aginst WDM Valley. The Rams beat the Tigers in Week 2 of the regular season. They take over at the Johnston 33 with just over three minutes left to play.
