I've had a MAJOR issue with my Ethernet Adaptor for the past 2 weeks and I've tried just about EVERY method I know and could find online to try and fix but to no avail, the issue is that the Ethernet Adaptor works perfectly fine in normal use but as soon as I launch a game such as BF or For Honor my Ethernet completely stops working and the only way to fix it is by restarting my PC as trying to do anything with it in Device Manager either crashes the system or gives an infinite loading status. The issue seems to come from Windows refusing to configure my adapter properly because I noticed it says "Device not started e2fnexpress " when the Intel provided drivers are installed or "Device not started e2f68 " when the default Windows drivers are installed but I've done everything that should've resolved this issue and yet it persists SYS 2. You dont do anything in Device Manager, you update drivers only from Asus supoprt and no other source, There will be a shortcut on your System for the Asus update utility. Do NOT use win update "other" updates.

February 14, Ask a new question. Hi, I've been having a problem with the Ethernet Adapder and it's driving me crazy. Every time it starts using the Ethernet adapter to some extend of it's capacity, and it happens more often when playing games or dowloading at high speeds the ethernet adapter stop detecting the cable and gets disabled. I can't enable it unless I restart Windows and then it automatically starts working again without issues until I start using it again. Did uninstall old drivers, remove device, install the newest drivers and even network reset.

Looks like you have a laptop, so nothing can be done other than getting an older driver from Asus.
