With top shows including EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks all battling it out for the top gongs. Fans will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite storyline from the last year, with Weatherfield's Acid attack and Lola's heartbreaking death in Walford amongst the nominees. They will be joined by the likes of Kim Tate's epic storm drama for Emmerdale's 50th anniversary , to Hollyoaks' ground-breaking 'incel' plot.

The top four nominees in each category at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards have been revealed. The annual awards honour the most popular performers and storylines across the soaps. Readers have voted in the thousands with almost 90, votes cast by readers since voting opened around two months ago in July.
