The 67th Senior National Kabaddi Championships concluded last week in Jaipur with the Indian Railways men's and women's teams emerging as the winners and lifting the trophy for the second consecutive year. With the tournament over, it is time for some international action to start in the sport of Kabaddi. Keeping that in mind, the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India AKFI has put out a list of the players who would be considered to be a part of the Indian men's and women's Kabaddi team for international fixtures. AKFI has selected top players at the Senior National Kabaddi Championships from the men's and women's category to be a part of the Indian men's Kabaddi team and Indian women's Kabaddi team respectively. AKFI has selected 38 players in each category, two of which have been kept on standby.

The 68th Senior Nationals Kabaddi Championships will mark the first major kabaddi tournament since the COVID pandemic with many of the top players set to get back on the mat.
