By Rakkasan , September 8, in General. Tamed my first Iguanodon last night. I like it in a general, aesthetic way, and I have already discovered what seems to be a nice, maybe unique ability. It can gather from bushes and trees very little from trees, though while walking and running. You have to time the tap just right to gather on the move but it seems a nice ability.

One of the many creatures I've yet encountered on the island, the Iguanodon Vicissitudinis has the distinctly versatile ability to change its primary method of locomotion according its momentary needs. Primarily a rather lethargic quadrupedal herbivore native to the island's many grasslands and forests, in situations where increased speed or manuverability is called for, it will quickly shift its posture into bipedal stance and behave like a very different creature! While bipedal, it can employ rapid stabbing attacks with its distinctive thumb spikes. In quadrupedal stance, conversely, it seems to have an endless supply of stamina, even while sprinting! Interestingly, the Iguanodon's thumb spikes also provide it with the capability to pick seeds out of fruits, allowing a farmer to handily convert stacks of seed for planting.
Iguanodon Vicissitudinis is a herbivore with a reactive temperament that appeared in the late Jurassic Epoch. The Iguanodon is a medium built reptile that has large hind legs and long but thin front legs which have spikes that it uses as tools for harvesting or weapons for fending off enemies. In the wild, Iguanodons are peaceful creatures like other herbivores but once threatened, it will retaliate by jabbing at the threat with its front legs. When humans approach this creature it seems to be observant and looking straight at the approaching human and go about its business but will retaliate or flee in the first sign of threat. Tribes that tame the Iguanodon use its natural talent of extracting seeds from plant life so they can efficiently sow their fields to grow crops. The Iguanodon is capable of switching between bipedal and quadrupedal stances in order to see better or to move around faster.
